Spring Bulbs The round tulip pillow has a blanket stitched edge, and the crocus pillow has a flange edge. I recommend a really thick and/or stiff wool for the background of all pillows, runners, etc., so the edge won't stretch out and get wavy as you stitch on it. Like the #1303 Baskets pattern, all the applique pieces were fused onto the background. As I write this description I see it's perfect weather for writing about wool—it's snowing big flakes out my window! Tulip Pillow: 12" dia.
